In connection

Het nieuwe werk ‘In verbinding” #1 en #2 gaat over in verbinding willen zijn met de wereld om mij heen. In de onderste foto zie je aan de rechterkant een wat ouder werk van paarse koolrabi en ernaast zie je het nieuwe werk. Hiermee is het meteen een verbinding tussen mijn vroege werk en het meest actuele. Ze passen heel goed bij elkaar, zijn echter ook mooi elk afzonderlijk.

Harmonie in alle arbeid, harmonie in mijzelf, harmonie in relatie met anderen. Op zoek naar balans in een wereld op drift. In verbinding met de bron van alle leven. Verbonden met datgene wat het leven geeft, de essentie of hoe je het ook noemen wilt, vind ik steeds meer rust om te zijn.


The new art work  ‘In connection’ #1 (purple) and #2 (multi colored) is about wanting to be in connection with the world around me.
In the image below you can see an older work of purple kohlrabi (130 x 70 cm) on the right and next to it you can see the new piece. This immediately makes it a connection between my early work and the most current. They fit together very well, but are also beautiful each individually.

Harmony in all work, harmony in myself, harmony in relationship with others. In search of balance in a world adrift. In connection with the source of all life. Connected to what gives life, the essence or whatever you want to call it, I find more and more peace just being.
